Hi Dorothy,

Zip is a data compression format used to make files smaller in size to save
storage space, download faster, etc. Most files are not usable in a
compressed state so you will need a Zip utility to "unzip" the file. Many
such programs are available for this purpose, both free and those you pay
for. When installed, these programs should associate themselves with the Zip
file extension. Here are links to three free programs:

JustZIPit:

ZipCentral:

ZipItFast! Version 3.0:

I have just downloaded some software for my Sharp cam phone so that I can
transfer pictures from the phone to my PC.

The download was successful but when I came to open the file it asked me
which program I wanted to open it with. It's a zip file so what do I do?"
