I can't offer any help, but more experiences with win95.  I've had 4
machines on a peer/peer with no problems whatsoever for a year.
Suddenly, one machine 'loses' its contact with the other three.  I
remap it, and it's fine, then later it's gone again.  No explanation.

I usually get it back again quicker by using the 'find' computer tool.
Then double click it, and suddenly it maps again.

No idea what is happening.
