Hi all...this will be a confusing question.

In Windows Explorer, in the "folders" view...I have a list of folders on
the left side and the contents on the right side. If I double click on
a folder on the left side, the contents show up on the right side. But
(and here's the issue)...If I single click on the left side, and go to
the right side to open a subfolder...the default action is NOT "explore"
but rather "search"....This is not what I want, I want to open the
folder, not search for something. It appears to work OK if I do ALL of
my navigation on the left side...but as soon as I try to access a folder
on the right side, I get the "search" function as the the default
action. (Search is bolded if I were to right click on the folder to
choose an action.

Does anybody out here understand what I'm describing? And is there a
way to get the default action on the right side of Windows Explorer to
revert back to Explore?

This is with WinXP, PIII.

Thanks in advance
