Dee is correct about this. You will find things more to your liking if you
turn off AOL's proprietary compression as follows.
The following instructions apply to AOL version 4: Go to My AOL, then choose
Preferences, then choose WWW, then click the Web Graphics tab. Uncheck "use
compressed graphics." This will get rid of the pesky .art files and give you
back the good ol' .gifs and .jpgs as you surf the Web.
