Further to my above message, an alternative would be to create the macro
as described using the words that would normally replace the suspect
words and then run it with Track changes selected. Then it is only a
matter of going through your book and either accepting each change or
rejecting it.
To select Track Changes go to Tools/Track Changes/Highlight Changes and
tick the top 2 boxes. To detect changes made, go to the start of your
chapter and select Tools/Track Changes/Accept or Reject Changes. Use the
find button to find the first change and either accept or reject that
change. The tracking feature will automatically find the next change.
You can highlight text while in the Accept/Reject mode and replace it by
typing in text. Then accept those changes.
