This isn't exactly the way it works. Add/Remove Programs only removes what
the < Author > of the program has put into the un-install file. Software
manufacturers like to leave a lot of things still installed in the Registry
and in the Windows folder in the paranoid fear that they will cause
problems with other programs that might use their files or in the hopes
that you will reinstall their program.
If you want a real complete uninstall, then use something like Symantec's
Norton Clean Sweep or or Ontrack's System Suite to monitor the install.
Every thing the program does is logged and when it comes time to remove it
.... it's really gone!
If this is for Win95 or Win98 you can also use PC Magazine's free utility
InCtrl4 which does pretty much the same thing but requires more user
involvement.
