I am basically new to working on my computer, but I have followedd this list
and others for quite some time. I have also read a lot of books and
information from the internet, but I am just beginning to acquire practical
experience. I have lots of questions!

Regarding the answer to the below stated question,I have read that you can
drag all the files from one location to another, is there a reason not to
drag all the files from the CD to the HD? Also, in other messages regarding
copying information from one HD to another the "XCopy" command with all the
swithces are use. Why is that not necessary here?
Thank you
TurtleAl

No special commands needed, just open the CD in a file manager and copy
the Windows 98 folder to a folder on your HD. Name the folder anything
you like e.g. Win setup files.
Try it,
Alan.
