You don't indicate how you open Internet Explorer. There are several methods
to get it to open maximized, but since it opens minimized try checking the
shortcut on your Desktop and/or Quick Launch bar. Right click and choose
"Properties". The properties window should open to the "Shortcut" tab. Close
to the bottom in the "Run:" field, click the drop down and set it to
"Maximized". Click "OK".

When I open internet explorer window, it automaticly minimizes and I have to
right click and click on maximize and it willnot let me make the window
smaller when it minimizes it appears to going down to a small dot on the
desktop.
