FP 2000 has a compatibility setting
(click TOOLS - PAGE OPTIONS - COMPATIBILITY)
that can be used to make your web compatible with:
IE only (uses MS extended tags)
Netscape only (uses Netscape's extended HTML tags)
BOTH (uses NO extended tags)
as well as several other settings.
I too am tired of the robber barons of MS gouging the public with
obscene prices for marginally functional products,
but FP 2000 -=IS=- a good product.
(BTW the latest report about wealth says that 3 of the top 4 wealthiest men
in the WORLD all work at MS)
