Steve, I recently did a clean Win 98 load and it loaded the IE 4.0. I use Netscape 4.5 regularly (my default browser). Now both shortcuts are on the desktop. I dial up my server and then choose which browser I want to use which for me is Netscape. However, while in Netscape, I receive "emergency" or whatever they call it "updates" from MS and as I type this to you in Netscape, IE is running because it just sent me another one of those messages. It appears to be running concurrently with Netscape. So, I can only observe that 1. dial up your server; 2. choose which browser you want
to use on your desktop.
