Hi Sixto,

I have the same or similar problems after I bought Windows 98, one month
ago. Testerday, two technicians have been here trying to solve the problems
because the printer doesn't work when the scanner is connected. I bought a
manual Data switch but it doesn't work either. I have to deconnect te data
switch manually and connetct it again. This way both appliances work. I
solved the problem connecting the scanner to te mains through a foot
switch. It's simple and easy.

I'm now waiting for another type of data switch and for special drives for
the scanner.
