What is the comparable file extension for Outlook folders?

Now, open Windows Explorer (Start Menu \ Programs) and navigate there by
clicking the "+" by C:\ drive on the left side (expanding the folder).
Continue to expand each folder in the path until you get to the Outlook
Express folder. Click on it and you will find the .dbx folders listed in the
large window on the right side.
