Here's what I would try...in IE, Tools|Internet Options|General, delete
Temporary Internet Files and clear History. In Netscape,
Edit|Preferences|Navigator|History, clear History, in
Edit|Preferences|Advanced|Cache, clear both Caches. If no joy, check to
see if XP has a Hosts folder (*not* Hoats.sam), if found, rename to
hosts.bak.
