I created a folder on my desktop and called it 'email'. In that folder is an
Internet shortcut to Gmail (when I click on it, it connects me to
mail.gmail.com). The icon for that shortcut is a postage stamp and I'm not
shure where it came from as I built if some time ago. I copied that shortcut
a few days ago and made a shortcut to Lycos. It had the postage stamp icon.
When I connected to Lycos the icon changed to a dog. Can I:

1. determine where the postage stamp icon is (when I try to change the icon
it goes to '%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll' and not to the file
containing the icon)?

2. change the dog icon to something else (the postage stamp if 1. works) and
make it stick when I connect to the web site?
