Sorry for the advice on the More command. I didn't realize it was something
other than a simple directory list or that ilk.

I've looked at some of my old DOS books and notes, trying to get back to the
times I loved diddling with batch files. The best I could come up with is to
ask if you've tried using the Call command from the original bat file? Seems
to me that I used it a few times to call up another program such as the once
popular LIST shareware program to manage the reading and scrolling of other
text files that were larger than a screenful. I've also used it to call
other bat files a delightfully useful freeware program called DC (Directory
Control).

Hope this is helpful. If it turns out to be productive, perhaps you could go
back to the PCSoft list and tell others how you got around your problem.

Good luck,

Larry
