Hmm. From my experience Windows Protection Errors are caused by
malfunctioning hardware. Check to see that all your cables are properly
set, and all your cards are firmly in place. I know this has nothing to do
with Norton Anti Virus or First Aid 97, but it may be a conincidence.
Of course you could also have a royally fubared registry file....
