Hi,
        I am assuming you are using some function (like Select All) to copy the
files in windows.  While they are still highlighted in the place you copied
to (not the CD), right click on one and choose properties.  This will show
you near the bottom a place with four check boxes.  The four are: System -
denotes that this file is a system file.  Hidden - tells the computer not
to show this file (if you have "View all Files" turned on, it will show
Hidden files), Read Only - turn this one off (uncheck), and Archive - this
file has been part of an archive.  For a normal file system, hidden, and
read only are turned off, archive may be on or off (usually denotes whether
the file has ever been compressed, I have yet to find a use for it).
