After a re-install of Win95, I tried to access QuickRes,(Microsoft Power
Toys), which had been previously installed, and was working fine. Now when
I want to use it to change screen resolution, it simply opens or directs me
to "Display Properties", which of course is what I was trying to avoid by
using QuickRes in the first place .

My first impulse was to reinstall QuickRes, and when I do I am greeted with
an error message, "Invalid Command Parameters, Unable to continue."

I am running a cyrix 166+, 96 Mb Ram, ATI PC2TV video card with Rage II PCI
(ati_m64) driver.

When I reinstalled win95, I did not allow it to look for drivers, PNP,
etc., but restored the registry from a known good copy. The reason for the
reinstall was because of corrupted user.exe and user32.dll files. I don't
see the connection between this and what now seems to be a corrupt Quick
Res but then again, I am a graphic artist, not as knowledgeable a systems
person as those sage contributors to this great list.

Anyone out there have any suggestions?

TIA Don Kendrew
