You may well be right.
This doesn't answer your question, but University of Hamburg

generally considered impartial.
Their published results are certainly very comprehensive, more than most of
us would need. I don't think they've ever rated any a-v better than about
96% effective, though I haven't looked there for a while.
They certainly slam some of the big names, and don't pull any punches where
necessary.
