I am having a bad experience with a HP R60 Office-Jet All-in-One.
Unfortunately for me, I paid a hefty price ($640) for this sucker, and it is
less than two years old and giving error messages "Scanner system failure".
I have contacted HP only to be told "you would be better off to buy another
one than to pay to have it fixed." I was told I would have to ship it to
the West Coast (Oregon I think) home center for repair, at my own cost, and
then pay a service fee of over a hundred dollars to get them to look at it,
and then pay the repair job (part will cost $170) plus labor. With my
experience, and the ones mentioned here, I think I will shop for some other
brand. Any suggestions?
