Hi Alan,

I can't understand your problem. I'm using Outlook since Outlook 95, and I
never run into this problem. I'm using Outlook Xp right now.
If you can't read those e-mail with files containing .doc extension, you
don't have word installed on your system, or maybe your word is not working
too well.
Pretty strange problem Alan.

I have received several emails containing files with a .doc extension on
Outlook XP. These files have been made unreadable by Outlook with
(object not found) message. Using Outlook express to obtain the files
and then forwarding them me via Outlook XP makes them usable. How can I
make Outlook XP receive them with extensions intact?

Thanks,
Alan Priol
