  I don't know any such thing.  Since I send all my mail as plain text
rather than HTML (on some of my machines I can't (or won't!) read HTML
mail), some of the email programs I use don't offer me such a choice; others
let me choose, but they effectively discard any font information before the
message leaves my machine.

  At very least, any useful answer to this question is going to be specific
to some particular email program.  What email program do you use?
