Yes, but there are three versions of this answer.
There are SOME games that have a two player option via modem.
There are fewer games that can be played ON the internet.
There might be a couple of  games that can be played OVER the internet.

Yes. If he sets up his PC as a HOST, you can dial in to him and transfer
files.

If you give him your Internet access information (userid and password),
then he can get email from your account.  BUT this is NOT a good thing
