On one of my home PCs, Pentium 60 with 32 MB RAM, 5.1 GB HD, games such
as World of Carmen Sandiego, Zoombinis, Close Combat were working fine
under WIN 95. I had to replace a disk, so on the new disk, I installed
the original WIN 95 and on top of that, the upgrade to WIN 98. Now the
games work, but there is no voice, and most of the sound, (except for
background music), is not playing. Needless to say, the games become
pretty much "unplayable". I've checked the MIDI settings, CD audio
plays fine and System Info doesn't show up any errors. Ideas?
