Hello There,
I apologize if someone else has already answered your question. I might
suggest hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del to see what all is running in the
background. You should be able to close (end task) everything running
except for Explorer and Systray. Now try running defrag again.
If this doesn't work, try running defrag from within Safe Mode.
Please let me know if this doesn't help.
