OK, I'll try moving my FA311 card to a different slot. It was working
just fine with Windows 98 and 2000. However, my son has a new Dell
computer that shipped with Windows XP Home, but he thought more was
better or something and purchased Windows XP Pro. His ethernet card is a
Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC and was working with XP
Home. However, the same thing happened to his card that happened to
mine with XP Pro. Maybe he should go back to XP Home and I should do
the same.

Thanks for your help.
