Venkat,
These options are not shown on my computer where mentioned. I assume it's  
because I'm using classic view instead of catagory view but can't find where to  
change the view type.

Hi,

you will find the setting just  below "control panel" in the START menu

in other words..... start/set  program access & defaults/non-microsoft.

You can also access via  control panel/add--remove programs. on the lefthand 
pane you will get "set  program access & defaults". click on this and since 
you wish to set  default for your browser(opera) click on "non-microsoft".
