I do not use Eudora, but .gif is an extension that is well know as one that
many times carries viruses, and therefore is blocked by many E Mail client
software programs. You can defeat it in OE & Outlook by changing this
preference in Options> Security, but is worded differently in these
applications so you will need to hunt around for it.

I use a Eudora (paid for) version 4.3.2. I am able to embed JPG files into
a message but have been unable to embed a GIF file. I can convert the GIF
to a JPG and use it but I want to use it as a GIF because it is a motion
type GIF. Anybody know if I can do that? Thanks. Bob
