I have no such file on my "heavily patched" Win95B.

If you do not have a folder named:
        c:\windows\ws2bakup
you do NOT have Winsock 2, and should get it.
Note there are some "odd" interactions with this
and DUN 1.3 and the order of installation.
I forget the particulars, and this may be why there
has been less than a spectacular response to your
question.
If no-one gives a more detailed answer before the
end of the week, I'll try to find the info in my archives.
