Good morning,
I recently purchased a new computer and I'm in the process of loading
all my software on it. I have Front Page 2002 on my old computer and I
want to move it to my new computer. When I put the disk in to install
it, it said that it could not detect a previous version of FrontPage and
shut down the install. That makes sense since there was not previous
version of FrontPage on the new computer.
Is it possible to somehow install FontPage on my new computer? I'm
looking at the box that I got when I upgraded my previous FrontPage
version on the old computer to FrontPage 2002. It says that it is an
Upgrade edition. Will I have to, somehow, find the previous edition and
install it on the new computer before I can upgrade it to the current
2002 edition?
Does Bill Gates own my computers and I'm out of luck unless I buy buy a
stand alone version of FrontPage for my new computer? I'm reluctant to
do that since FrontPage is no longer going to be produced by Microsoft.
Details: Computer is an AMD Athlon X2 dual core processor with 512 megs
of memory, running WinXP Pro SP2.
Thanks...
Loy
