You will have to work at it.  For example the Happy99.exe worm (technically
not a virus) will either embed or create a separate Email for Juno with the
worm program UUE encoded into it.  You will have to un-encode the program
and then run it to get the worm program on your machine.  My wife uses Juno
and has received this worm three times in the past week.  Luckily she
didn't know how, and didn't have the program, to un-encode the UUE file.  I
saw and removed it before anyone un-encoded and ran it.
