I'm also an Opera user. On my system there are some quirks with it. First
off, there are some pages where I have to revert to IE just to access some
sites (mostly secure sites and "flash"-y pages) even with plugins installed
and functional on other sites. Also, since it's my default browser, I find
there's a delay when clicking links in email or docs before Opera responds
(longer than IE). Also, when trying to access a site that's unreachable,
Opera will lockup (that is, no response in any open browser window) until I
get either the connection time-out or unreachable message. And lastly, when
trying to download files from forums I frequent, rather that save file ,
Opera attempts to open them as a web page (this may be a misconfiguration
on my part; however, it doesn't always do this). Aside from these minor
irritations, I'd still recommend it over IE.
As for Netscape, runs too slow on my main machine; seems bloated. Mozilla,
currently on my laptop appears quicker that Opera, but doesn't have the
quick-prefs features like Opera.
