If I remember correctly, you need to clear your "Recent documents" list of
any references to the "A" drive.

When I click on any document in MY DOCUMENTS, my computer tries to find it
on the A:/ drive first. After finding no disk in the drive and "grinding"
for several seconds looking, it eventually opens the document I want which
is located on the C:/ drive. Why is this happening and how can I stop it.
I use Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed.
