A really excellent product is Quick View Plus from Jasc Software. Here's a
link from their site to give you a capsule description.

I've been using their version 4 for years and have found it quick and
valuable - nearly always, displaying the information as well as the native
application would. You can also print the displayed info very easily.

WIN 3.1 and WIN95 had a dumbed down copy of this software that - like this
package, shows up on the right click menu. it was simply called "Quick
View". This package shows up on the menu as "Quick View Plus".
