Seems to be a Hewlett Packard gene. My three year old 3260 Desk To and my
three week old HP XG832 tend to pull that sort of tricks occasionally. The
Desk top did it for over two years. By the way they are both Pavilion PC's.
The 3260 healed it's self when I installed a new power supply. All the
problems that tech support could never cure disappeared when I installed the
power supply indicating it had a faulty one to begin with. Chet
