Under, my computer, printers, properties, details, there is a button for
spooler options.  First, change it from EMF to RAW.  If that has no effect,
try 'print directly to printer.'  Otherwise, try and track down another
printer driver.  I assume he is using the win95 supplied driver.  If so,
there is information in the drivers\printers folder on the win95 cd about
certain lexmark printers (mine was an optra R+) that may help.  If this is
an old inkjet like my friend's Cannon, it may be simpler to get a new
printer.  He did.

A friend of mine is operating on Windows 95, and occasionally gets the
following error message:

"Spool 32 caused an invalid page fault in module spool32.exe at
0137:004021f5."

I assume that this has something to do with the printer. For what it's
worth, the printer is a Lexmark Z22.
