Hi all..My desktop background image has been hijacked. I think I inadvertantly (Yeah right..No really!) clicked on an image attachment in an email. When shutting down I was shocked to see a softcore image in place of my usual desktop background. I made my way to "display" in the control panel and managed to replace the image, but the hijacker`s image is still there lurking behind my own and can be seen when starting up before my desktop image fully loads. It`s also the last thing seen on my desktop when shutting down. I`ve run Spybot and HijackThis..but w/o finding or rectifying the problem. I also did a virus scan which turned up nothing. I`ve searched the registry and every likely place in my C drive and can`t find anything suspicious. I`m running Windows98/IE6. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this image once and for all? Your help would be appreciated!

TIA...
