I am currently having problems with a lot of my programs -
Word97-WinfaxPro-Netscape-Outlook98 and possibly others I have't yet tried.
Each program gets an illegal operating message referring to module GDI.EXE
at various numbers (0003:000020b4)etc.
There is in the system.ini [boot] section, GDI.EXE=GDI.EXE.
What is the reference GDI.EXE refer to, or what program launches
it?.Explorer? MS Office? Norton?
Am running Win98 b3 which, up to now, has been very stable.
If I can find out what module GDI.EXE is associated with maybe it can be
fixed, or a re-install may be necessary!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Alan Priol.
