Have you looked in Adminstrative Tools/Local Secutiy Policy/Local
Policies/Security Options?

If you play around in there for a week or two, you'll probably stumble on
the appropriate access rights to your documents.

Whew. Only XP could bury its bones this deep.

That's one of XP's minuses--you need a lot of spades and shovels for
digging deep into the trees.

Ahhh---wouldn't it be nice to have an "XP simple" version---not Pro, not
Home, just a bare bones OS for beginners, without all the fancies and
frills which most of us don't want and will never use.

There's a fortune awaiting some clever person out there. And don't mention
Linux. That's not what I mean.

As an alternative, could you not burn the folder to CD or DVD? I should
think that would be the safest and easiest method.
