I had a computer that would not open MS Word, and Wordpad stopped opening
Word files also. I used the MS Knowledge Base, completely removed Office,
reinstalled and fixed the Word problem, but still am unable to save or open
.doc files in Wordpad. The only options are .wri, .txt, and .rtf! I tried
reinstalling Wordpad to no effect. KB had no articles I could find. Any
clues?
