hi...if any icq users want to password protect their icq program so that
others cannot use it, you can set a password by doing the following

click the word "main" on bottom of icq box....click "security and privacy
permissions"...on the left under "general settings" make sure "general" is
highlited...under "security level"on the right put the dot next to
"high"...click the apply button....you will get an "alert"...click "ok" and
enter your password....click "ok" and "apply"...thats it..i tried it and it
worked cuz when i closed and reopened icq it asked for the password....now
remember this...you will now need this password to "open" icq or "change"
many settings including reversing what you have just done with regards to
the password.... so be forewarned that you had better not FORGET that
password....this is just
another feature that can be used with icq.....Gary Burke
