Go to add/remove programs in the control panel. Click on I.E. and tools and click
add/remove. It has a built in self-correcting feature that worked for me when I had
the exact same problem. Paula Houseworth

Subject: [PCSOFT] Outlook Express/IE5
All of a sudden I can not get my Internet Explorer 5 to work. Outlook Express works
just fine, I have no probems at all getting or sending email. When I click on the
icon it will go to the opening page and freeze up. You can see the little arrow and
hourglass and it will go no farther. All I can do is reset the computer. Even
control/alt/delete doesn't work. When the computer comes back on I go through the
complete thing saying scandisk found a problem and I have that taken care of and
everything works fine except the IE5. I have W 95. Is this a software problem? Linda
