A very effective program to eliminate spam from your inbox is InBoxer
(http://www.inboxer.com/products.shtml) I use it at work where, as David
Gillette pointed out in an earlier post, I recieve a barrage of e-mails from
addresses that are either similar to mine or addressed to me but are
obviously junk. (My boss at work had used my PC to do some 'shopping' online
and clicked on a few too many links) It is highly effective and actually
learns how to apply its filtering rules better the more you use it. It
offers a free trial, but I found it worked so well that I purchasd it before
the trial version expired. I had tried using the rules option within Outlook
(2000), but found I could not keep up with the various incarnations of junk
e-mail in applying filters.
