If you are using Outlook Express: Get on line and click the 'Tools' menu to
open the drop down list. Click on 'Options' which will open a dialogue box
with several tab headings. Click on the 'General' tab and check mark the
item that says 'Check for New Messages every' and insert a number like '10'
or less. Click 'Apply' and close out the dialogue box. This will make your
modem stay on line and check the server to determine if you have any new
messages waiting for delivery. This should solve your problem.
