  Actually, it's quite common for Copy (Ctrl-C) to place several
copies of the selected material on the clipboard in different
formats; when you select Paste (Ctrl-V), it's up to the target
application to select the appropriate format to retrieve from the
clipboard.

  So I suspect that on the PC where this operation is "failing" (I
think I made it clear before that I think it's a Bad Idea...), either
the email client in use is not HTML-capable, or is configured not to
send HTML-format messages.  On the PC where the email client supports
(or is configured to support) HTML, the HTML-format version of the
page is pated from the clipboard instead of the text-format version.
