I have Windows XP Home Edition and Outlook Express.  Occasionally when I receive an email that contains either a cartoon or picture, all that shows is a tiny little square with a red X in it.  

The text comes through, but not the pics or cartoons.  Would this be a problem with my OE or the sender's?

I would appreciate any help you can give me on this subject.
