Hello all,
I brought the set-up disks of WordPerfect 6.1 from work to home to
load on an older Packard Bell 486 and something got goofed up.
The installation -appeared- to go OK, but when I went to double
click on the icon to start the program, I saw a screen or two and
then a white dialog box popped up saying "Error---Cannot
Initialize". There is an OK button to click on then the program
goes away. I'm not pirating software; I just want to work on some
things at home that I have started at work, so I decided to load the
program, but...
The 486 has Windows 95a upgraded from Windows 3.1, 36MB of memory.
Any ideas what my problem might be?
Thanks for your help.
