Winamp is a much better player than RealPlayer. IMO, the two best players
that I ever used is Winamp and MusicMatch, and the two worst were RealPlayer
(Jukebox) and the new Windows Media Player 7.0, and that's because both of
them are big resource hogs, while Winamp and MusicMatch don't use as much
resources, and they are better at recording CDs onto you hard drive and
converting the songs to MP3 format. To make the switch is not that hard,
just install Winamp and make it your default player for music files. I
haven't used Winamp in a long time because I use MusicMatch, but I think you
can do this during the installation or you can do it from within the
program's preferences or options.
