I so often get wonderful help here and just this once I would like to thank
those that have been there for me in personal as well as list responses.

 This time, maybe I can be of some help here ! I would like to suggest that
you use this newsgroup as an alternate resource to PCSOFT:
Microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ieak5.general

I have recently installed IE5 after innumerable faulty attempts, until
someone on the newsgroup made some suggestions that worked great and I was
able to download and install right over my old IE4.

You will find fabulous help here at PCSOFT and I certainly don't want to
discourage you from coming here first, but an alternate resource might be an
AOL newsgroup or the one I mentioned above.
