Just had a new machine built at local shop,
 900 Athalon K7
128 Ram
32 megs Nivida (?) video card
All is running fine but on boot up it comes up with video Mhz screen, about
5x5 inch size saying " new video rate" with the numbers below that, right in
middle of first boot screen, it disappears in seconds and does not slow
system down, it seems to be part of boot process, I looked in the video
setup and configuration under settings and cannot find anything that says to
display on boot. I have the refresh rate set to optimal automatic . Is there
something I am overlooking ? This is an Ameritrends bios and I cannot find
anything in setup either. What is strange , on another monitor it does not
do this so I am assuming it is something in monitor setup, the monitor is a
Goldstar EV700, built for Gateway. Has anyone ever seen this or have a
remedy.?

thanks !
